For Your Consideration, Academy Voters!

Dear Oscar voters, 

Further to Mr David Frum’s assertion that:

“…the casualties are disproportionate: Hamas has arranged it that way. If necessary, sympathetic photographers take pictures of children who pretend to be injured, and once they are published in Western newspapers these claims become fact.” [outraged emphasis mine]

I’d like to offer fresh evidence of the astounding skill and devotion of Palestinian children to the Method school of acting. You can almost feel their abject terror and desperation, and hear their piteous cries for medicine and comfort, made all the more realistic by the fact that, thanks to the Israeli blockade, there simply isn’t enough anesthetic or essential medical equipment to go around. 

This is a level of thespian commitment not seen since Marlon Brando, so do please consider voting for these children who “pretend to be injured”, and their pseudo-shattered parents.
