You all know Prudence and I like a good party. With the gossip we’ve been hearing of late, I think we might have found a kindred spirit in Meghan McCain, blogette daughter of John McCain.
Meghan has been on the trail for her father, accompanied by a photographer and filmmaker who chronicle her campaigning for her personal blog McCainblogette.com. That’s the official story.
But unofficially…… One political insider describes Meghan’s personal media entourage as friends who “are freeloading off the campaign” and “constantly taking pictures of young men.”
Further, though I stress I’ve heard no rumors of drug use (hopefully she’s learned a lesson about that from mom Cindy), it seems like there could be something more than simple campaign fatigue underlying Meghan’s regular nap attacks. Possibly late night parties that commence after the non-insider cameras have been sent away.
Miss Meghan better hope her photog and filmmaker friends never fall on tough economic times because the unseen contents of their cameras are apparently quite valuable.
McCain’s campaign advisers may have some concern that any public appearance of impropriety could cause negative press for the already floundering campaign, but we say pshaw! Party on, girl! And give us a call next time you’re in town. You sound, like, totally fun.
